Jaguars Sign 55-Year Old Andre Rison

August 9, 2022

After signing Christian Kirk and Zay Jones to help with the development of Trevor Lawrence, the Jaguars made waves this week by signing five-time Pro Bowler Andre Rison. Rison, who holds the NFL record by scoring touchdowns with seven different teams, hasn’t played in the NFL since 2000 or professionally since 2005. The Jaguars feel his 10,000 receiving yards, Super Bowl ring and Grey Cup ring are much needed symbols of success that can help take the young squad to the next level. This is Rison’s second stint with Jacksonville, where he caught 34 passes for two touchdowns 26 years ago.
