East Syracuse Minoa’s Joe Burry ‘18 was a section three standout playing multiple sports. Meanwhile Ava Burry ‘26 has drawn a lot of attention since playing varsity softball as an eighth grader last spring, and now playing varsity soccer as a freshman this fall for the lady spartans who are currently 18-0 and ranked #2 in the state.
