Chief Minister Announces 2031-32 Year Budget

The Chief Minister & his cabinet has released the new budget. Alongside the budget, they have introduced the Loz Cruz pound. The city’s currency already exists as the 2nd strongest in the world vs the dollar. £1 can get you $4.81 & £3.90. Due to this, prices across the city will drop sharply alongside wages. It has been announced, minimum wage will now be £1.21hr (£2,323 yr). The Energy Minister will cap the energy bill at £121yr (£10 month) broadband bills at £23yr (£2 month), phone contracts at £60yr (£5 month). Water bills will be capped at £20yr (£1.60 month), and electricity bills at £90yr (£7.50 month). The government has pledged to up healthcare beds by 1,000 by 2032, as well as introduce a free-travel scheme by 2033. At the moment, all fares are capped at 25p for adults and 11p for children. The Environmental Secretary has stated Labour will made the city net-zero by 2036.
