POLICE DENY HELP TO MOTORIST SUFFERING HEART ATTACK

Melvina Thompson was traveling on US 59 with her husband when she began to experience convulsions and extreme chest pain. Her husband pulled over and saw two Houston Police Mounted Patrol trailers sitting next to him in traffic. He frantically waved at both trailers to stop to come to the rescue of Melvina, who was hunched over in the passenger seat clinching her chest and fading in and out of consciousness. He reported that when he tried to flag the officers down, they simply waved at him and left him and Melvina on the side of the road. Eventually, the fire department was called to the location to help, but Melvina succumbed to what doctors are calling a massive heart attack. Melvina’s husband Marvin, plans on filing legal actions against the Mounted Patrol officers.
