Will the Conservatives be able to pull of their plan before the 2032 election?

February 15, 2024

As we complete our first year under the Conservative Government, it has been nothing but a disaster. It makes most of us wonder why we even voted them? Education levels are flatlining, predicted to fall, 5 GP clinics have closed, A&E times now up to 2 hours, and crippling economy. There are 4 years left until the next general election, and the recession won’t be over till 2029, as predicted, with real economy growth not happening until at least 2030. That means they will have 2 years to improve living standards, healthcare, the economy and the islands infrastructure. Would they be able to pull this off? And if so, how? They would need to invest money into businesses, schools & our healthcare system, as the Healthcare bosses say in just 1 year, the budget of Healthcare has fallen 2.5%, meaning £5.2mil is needed to put Healthcare services back on track. And it is growing. By 2030, if it continues the way it is going, there will be over a 29% deficit in the Healthcare budget, which is around £201mil. The government will have to invest at least £350mil to keep the Healthcare system in good shape.
