The inspiration for “On Da Grind” came from Zoe’s personal struggles and the challenges he faced while trying to survive and maintain his life in the fast-paced city. Zoe was born in Grenada, Mississippi on April 23, 1986, and moved to Miami, Florida at the age of 18, leaving behind Batesville, Mississippi Job Corps, in pursuit of his dreams and destiny. However, life wasn’t easy for Zoe as he was caught up in legal troubles early on in his journey. He caught three charges, including an armed robbery on South Beach and possession of marijuana and a sell charge in Fort Lauderdale.
