He goes by the name LA Klay! He was Born Lonnie O’Quinn Jr on February 9, 1997 to Lonnie & Clora OQuinn. He grew up with 6 siblings in a small MS town named Hermanville. Besides going to school & being in the country, his dad had them singing. Before long, he was singing in the school choir & next he had picked up some drums & was playing in the band. As you can see, music has always been his thing & once his sister started doing her music, it motivated him & he knew then, that it was in him! He then started writing and recording songs, free-styling on beats for fun then it became a passion. He then realized music was therapeutic for him & he started using it to express himself. That’s when L. A. Klay was born!
