Dabo Swinney Time As A Coach Has Came To A End

November 27, 2024

Dabo Swinney the 55 year old Clemson football coach has been involved in a number of investigations, involving stealing teams plays and hiring a coach to watch the opposing teams plays. Dabo has been a great, successful coach for Clemson the last 16 season. Dabo has won 2 national championships (Years 2016 and 2018) and also has 8 conference championships. Swinney has also produced some of the bright stars in the NFL the last few years. DeAndre Hopkins, Deshaun Watkins, Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne, Christian Wilkins, Mike Williams, Hunter Renfrow, Isaiah Simmons, and AJ Terrell just to name a few. Against Pittsburgh the rumors started to surface saying a Clemson coach was spotted at Pittsburghs practice with binoculars and a camera watching and recording the plays from Pittsburgh. The Nation College Athletic Association (NCAA) looked into it and found footage of stealing plays since 2017. Dabo Swinney has denied all and any allegations. But when former Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables was asked about it he said “you know Dabo and that group of kids at Clemson has made a spark the last few years. When I first started Clemson was one of them teams you just kind of looked past and paid no attention to. And then all of a sudden we are winning games, and being in the playoffs and even the national championship. Has nobody ever questioned anything suspicious? I’m not going to say if that kind of activity was happening when I was there, but I’m not going to say it didn’t.” Brent later stated that Dabo is a great guy and loving father but has made some questionable decisions in his life. The NCAA has tried to keep the situation quiet until after the season, but has already came out saying that Dabo no longer will be the Clemson coach, nor a coach in college football again.
