Originally hailing from Washington State, it all started with a “Drummer seeking punk band” want ad at a local music shop. Two unlikely people, but with similar music interests, were destined to become brothers, and create a new melodic punk band. In 2005, Holding On was born. Holding On was a powerhouse in the local PNW music scene, producing fast, fun, melodic punk rock. In 2011, after a few lineup changes, Holding On went on an infinite hiatus, well, because life happens... Erik (Now in TX) and Kyle (still in PNW) the original founding members, started writing and recording again in 2020. Holding On is back, with new music to share with the world.
