Getting To Know Germany’s Top Upcoming Rapper!

October 24, 2025

I am one of the most popular buzzing music artist from Germany! As long as I can think, music was my passion. In the beginning of my youth, I had a really hard time — I was bullied extremely for six years during my school time, which led to major depression, a borderline personality disorder, PTSD, and later drug abuse that ended in an opioid addiction. But as hard as the time was, I never lost my love for music. So I started learning ukulele by myself, and I loved it. Soon I could play my favorite songs, especially a lot of songs from twenty one pilots, which is still one of my favorite bands. I even wrote my first own songs. At 19, I discovered metal for myself and started to play electric guitar. I learned my favorite iconic metal and rock riffs, which I really enjoyed. But especially during this time, I was repeatedly inpatient in a psychiatric hospital. During one of these clinic stays, I met a fellow patient who introduced me to making beats and rapping — and I fell in love again with this type of music. Soon I bought a cheap laptop and an audio interface and started to make my own beats. Later, I tried rapping for the first time over a few of the beats I made. But beatmaking was never the thing I really loved — no, rapping and learning more about mixing and mastering became my new passion. So I started buying professional beats, wrote a lot of songs, and recorded them. At some point, I even began releasing them on streaming platforms like Spotify and others, and created my own social media accounts to promote my music. But then, two and a half years ago, I had an accident which led to a nerve injury and CRPS Type 2 — a rare and really severe pain disorder. From that moment on, I had horrible pain every day, which is still the case today. Even through all of this, I kept writing songs and learned more about mastering. I got better and better and soon started recording my songs again, but only on days when the pain wasn’t that bad. Unfortunately, I won’t ever be able to work a regular job again and now even need a wheelchair, as well as very strong medication for the pain. But on good days, I keep making songs. I’m Repyh, I’m 23 — and this is my story.
