YouTube support on “unsecure browsers” will end officially in 2021. What’s “unsecure?” Everything except Chrome apparently.

In response to increased tensions surrounding YouTube as an illegal video and music distribution platform, Google promises to increase security and control over the platform by requiring the use of the Chrome web browser or YouTube app to visit the site.
