From the app is fastest. Open the story in Breaking News Maker and use the report button on it. That files straight into the moderation queue with the story attached, so nobody has to work out which report you meant.

From here works too. Email support@breakingnewsapp.net and paste the link to the story. Tell us what is wrong with it in a sentence — impersonation, harassment, a stolen photo, an invented emergency. Specifics get acted on faster than "this is bad".

Flagged stories are read by a human. A report that breaks the rules is hidden or removed outright, and a removed story stops resolving everywhere at once — including on every link to it that has already been shared.

Reports are filed anonymously — there are no accounts here, so there is no login that proves a story is yours. Email support@breakingnewsapp.net with the link, from the device you filed it on if you still have it, and we will pull it.

Every photo is reviewed before the report it belongs to goes public, which is why there is a wait between filing and publishing. Review catches what a person can see at a glance; it does not catch a picture that was taken from somewhere else.

If a photo is yours and it was used without permission, or a picture of you is up and you want it down, email support@breakingnewsapp.net with the link and enough detail to identify the image. We do not need a legal filing to act on it.
